Sankey Tax and Accounting is a small accounting practice that has just begun its story.  25 years ago, after life changing events, I had to return to the work force to support my young family.  With only office clerk experience and no formal qualifications, I began my professional journey by attending TAFE and receiving an Advanced Diploma in Accounting.  While studying I started working during tax season, to obtain some practical experience with the preparation of basic income tax returns.  Once I had finished my TAFE studies I found work within a public practice on a full-time basis. 

 

I have been working in the tax and accounting profession for the past 19 years, and during that time have continued to further my understanding through education, obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting, followed by a Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting).
